Our MEWP training is aligned to the Working at Height Regulations 2005 and the HSE guidance GEIS6 'The selection, management and use of MEWPs'. Below you will find a guide to the IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) categories for MEWP which includes Scissor Lift and Boom Lift (Cherry Picker) training.
We offer two levels of MEWP training accreditation from ITSSAR and BRITTOp , both are recognised by CITB and equivalent to IPAF training. We believe that accredited training rather than in-house training is far more beneficial to both the trainee and employer. Accredited training means that you always receive the most up to date Health and Safety Information, Registered Instructors, National Testing Standards and Recognised Certification.
Our MEWP training courses run with a maximum of four candidates per course. This means far more actual operating time than some other courses allow.
Typically courses are 1 Day for a group of 4 trainees. Contact Right On Mobile Plant Training for more information.
No, IPAF is an awarding body, much the same as ITSSAR and BRITTOp.
MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) training which covers both Scissor Lifts and Boom Lifts can be completed with any awarding body. IPAF is the most well known, but all of the accredited awarding bodies are equal.
