The Reach Truck provides and alternative to the Counterbalance forklift where space is at a premium. When used to their full potential Reach Trucks can substantially reduce the cost of storage due to the narrow aisle width.
Training on the safe and efficient use of Reach Forklifts is essential and is recommended within the HSE's Approved Code of Practice L117 - Rider Operated Lift Trucks.
We understand that each industry uses their Reach Truck for specific tasks and our modern course programmes can be tailored specifically to you and your team, including high bay working with CCTV and vehicle loading.
Which Reach Forklifts do you train on?
D1 - Reach Truck up to 8 meter lift
D2 - Reach Truck over 8 meter lift
M3 - Multidirectional Reach Truck (such as Combilift)
What will I get at the end of the course?
Every trainee will receive a nationally recognised and accredited certificate of basic training from either ITSSAR (Independent Training Standards Scheme and Register) or BRITTOp (British Register of Industrial Truck Trainers and Operators). We also issue optional photo ID cards with each course.
Reach Trucks are a type of forklift designed to work within reduced aisle widths.
