Commonly known as Flexi, Bendy or Articulated Forklift, Pivot Steer forklifts pivot in the middle in a similar way to a dumper truck. The mast pivots in front of the operator and this unique function means they can work in very tight aisle as well as performing normal forklift duties
Training on the safe and efficient use of Pivot Steer Forklifts is essential and is recommended within the HSE's Approved Code of Practice L117 - Rider Operated Lift Trucks.
We understand that each industry uses their Articulated Forklift for specific tasks and each brand such as Aisle-master and Flexi drive differently. Through our modern course programmes we can tailor the course specifically to you and your team.
Which Pivot Steer Forklifts do you train on?

P2 - Pedestrian operated pivot steer forklift
What will I get at the end of the course?
Every trainee will receive a nationally recognised and accredited certificate of basic training from either ITSSAR (Independent Training Standards Scheme and Register) or BRITTOp (British Register of Industrial Truck Trainers and Operators). We also issue optional photo ID cards with each course.
No, a pivot steer forklift drives and operates very differently to a counterbalance forklift.
Importantly the stability factors are also very different.
However, you can complete a conversion course from Counterbalance or Reach truck to a Pivot Steer Forklift which is much shorter in time.
