Boat Yard Training

ITSSAR and BRITTOp accredited operator training with instructors who have direct marina experience, on all types and sizes of boat moving equipment.


This course is a mixture of theory and practical lessons, designed to give the candidate confidence in operating the shipyard transporter. 


We offer Novice, Experienced and Safety Refresher Training.  Courses vary depending upon the complexity and size of the machines.  Typically a Novice course is 5-3 Days with refresher training covered in 1-2 Days.

Boat Hoist training on both dock and slipway hoists.  This training will be carried out at your site, giving your operatives the confidence to work safely and efficiently.

Hydraulic trailers such as those offered by Roodberg and Abi are becoming increasing complex.  We offer boat yard training at your site on these technical trailers.

Although most Dry Stack forklifts come under the B1/B2 Counterbalance forklift category, we offer a specific accredited training course on these machines.
